Faguèye Ndiaye Sylla, doctor in mathematics and 'AWMA treasurer, has been promoted in Sénégal as
- Chair of the National Commission for Mathematics by ministerial decree and,
- General Inspector of Education and Training by presidential decree.
Through these decisions, all women mathematicians are promoted.
