The African Women in Mathematics Association (AWMA) is deeply saddened to receive the sad news of the passing on of Professor Senelani Dorothy Hove-Musekiwa former General Secretary of AWMA (2013-2020). She passed on 16th February 2022.
Prof Hove-Musekiwa joined the National University of Science and Technology Zimbabwe (NUST) on the 2nd of January in 2003 as a lecturer and attained her full Professorship in April 2018.
Prof Hove-Musekiwa was an active member and Board Charperson of the ZIMSTAT Board. She was Southern Africa Mathematical Sciences Association Treasurer (SAMSA) from 2002 to 2006.
